The Team Fortress division is proud to announce that we are releasing a new server! We are very happy with how well servers have been staying full lately, and would like to thank all of you by giving you another server to enjoy.

As with all new additions, the server will not be as easy to fill to start, and may have some minor issues for the first few days. Please take any suggestions or concerns to the mysterybox.

Most of the results from last weekend's Highlander team tryouts are in, and we're happy that so many people were eager to participate in this new aspect of the TF2 division! While we couldn't give everybody who tried out a spot on the team, we can confidently say that all of you show potential to have a career in competitive TF2 should you continue to practice and improve your playing on your main class.

Class placement on the team was based off of several factors, including: match scores in MGE, accuracy percentages in MGE, strength of communication during scrims, teamwork and more. If you would like detailed reasoning behind each pick we have that too, so don't be afraid to ask Roker for more information about the construction of the team.

In addition, there will be a mandatory team meeting to discuss the upcoming season, practice schedule and team policies this Saturday May 11th at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time in Ventrilo.

It's that time again: Reflex Gamers' QAC has put together a "roll call" for our entire community to complete. What's the roll call? Well, the roll call will allow our leadership team to gauge how well the community has been growing, and will give you a chance to tell us any concerns you might have in any area of rxg. Please note that ONLY DIRECTORS WILL SEE YOUR ANSWERS. Therefore, we encourage you to be 100% honest in your responses. Please know that even if you completely bash a Director in your roll call form you will not be discriminated against for promotions, awards or otherwise! We need your honest feedback so that we can improve rxg for you and the rest of the community. The roll call will end on June 1st, so click the link below to start filling out the form.

Due to the increasingly large wave of new members, donations and server activity that we've seen over the past few months, Reflex has decided to upgrade its servers in order to provide the absolute best gaming experience possible for everyone. We have recently purchased a dedicated box from our server provider, Nuclear Fallout Enterprises, and we will be transferring our current server IPs to this new machine.

Why upgrade? The dedicated box will allow us to host servers with better specs, give us more control over our actual servers and leave us a great deal of room to expand, especially over the summer. Upgrading will also save us money in the long run, but we will be changing our monthly donation goals to accommodate what will be an initial higher upkeep cost.

Unfortunately, as with any major changes to servers, we do not know if there will be any downtime, and getting the box fully set up may take up to 9 days. Please be patient while we sort out any unforeseen issues over the next week, and we encourage you to let us know if you notice any problems. However, our server provider has been very helpful in this transition process, and we are confident that they will continue to provide us with quality support should any issues arise.
